*Dr. S. K. Agarwal honoured with Peace Leadership and Excellence Award*


On the occasion of the United Nations’ International Day of Peace 2025, celebrated on Sunday 21st September, 2025 at the M.P. Birla Planetarium, eminent physician and peace ambassador Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal was conferred with the Peace Leadership and Excellence Award. 
The honour was jointly presented by the Lions Club of Kolkata Magnates and the Rotary Club of Kasba in recognition of Dr. Agarwal’s outstanding and innovative contributions towards promoting peace and harmony worldwide through his work in Yoga, Meditation,and Holistic Healing programmes, rooted in ethical values for the well-being of individuals, communities, and the environment. In his brief acceptance speech, Dr. Agarwal expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his mission of spreading peace.  

The award ceremony was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Adv. Nandlal Singhania, Past President of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shri Ashok Lodha, Shri Ghanshyam Sugla, and Dr. Parthasarathi, CEO of MCKV Group of Institutions. They jointly handed over the award to Dr. Agarwal, amidst warm applause from the gathering. 
Speaking on the occasion,dignitaries lauded Dr. Agarwal’s relentless efforts in spreading the message of peace through spiritual wisdom and holistic practices. The event echoed the UN’s global call to “Act Now for a Peaceful World.”
