Free Eye and Health Check-up Camp Organized by Mahendra Roy Lane Business Owners Association on Republic Day

Kolkata: With a commitment to social responsibility, a free eye and health check-up camp was organized by the Mahendra Roy Lane Business Owners Association on Monday, January 26, Republic Day. The camp, held at the Association's office in Mahendra Roy Lane, was organized in collaboration with ASG Eye Hospital and Fortis Hospital.

The camp provided general health check-ups, including eye examinations using modern computerized technology. Local residents and business owners received free health services under the supervision of specialist doctors. Participants received diagnosis for various eye problems, vision testing, and basic health advice.

Alongside the camp, a blanket distribution program was also organized for the cold-stricken and needy people. The organizers conveyed a message of humanity by standing by the underprivileged members of society.

Those present at the event included the President of the Mahendra Roy Lane Business Owners Association, Zakir Hossain Mallick, Secretary Syed Abdul Shakir, Treasurer Naushad Ahmed, Assistant Secretary Shamim Akhtar, Vice President Mosharraf Hossain, and Assistant Treasurer Irfan Ahmed. Also present were Syed Faisal, Secretary of the West Bengal Minority Cell, Ehteshamul Haque Siddiqui, Organizing Secretary of the WBTMCC Minority Cell, Chairman Farid Khan, State President of BSBM Professor Wajhul Haque, Entally MLA Shri Swarna Kamal Saha, and Councillor Smt. Jolly Bose (Ward-59, KMC) and Ward President Robin Bose (TMC).

The Association announced that such public welfare programs will be organized regularly in the future so that common people can easily access necessary health services. The event was successfully concluded with the spontaneous presence and cooperation of the local residents.
